RealSleep is a CD you play while you're going to sleep. Created by a neuroscientist, it uses nearly-inaudible sounds embedded in music to help you go to sleep faster and stay asleep longer.

RealSleep works where other products don't because it uses a completely natural approach to sleep - it triggers the the motion-induced sleepiness that babies experience while being rocked and that most people feel while riding as a passenger in a car or train. The result is a sleep that's natural, easy, restful, and refreshing. Learn more about how RealSleep works.

"I often get anxious and have trouble falling sleep. I tried this CD on the recommendation of a friend. Next thing I knew, it was morning and I was refreshed! I do not understand how it works, but it does. Try it!"

How RealSleep works

1. Very low frequency sounds
activate the vestibular system to trigger Sopite Syndrome, the motion-induced sleepiness that babies experience while being rocked and that most people feel while riding as a passenger in a car or train.

2. Quiet "pink" noise
shaped to match the sound signatures of heartbeats and breathing reduces activity in the brain's arousal centers to encourage relaxation.

3. Binaural beats
slightly different sound frequencies delivered to each ear trigger frequency-following responses between the brain's hemispheres, helping the brain match the waveforms that characterize the stages of sleep.
